Our Ascot Horse Racing Tips for the weekend.

Bright Diamond (Ascot Race 9 No. 14)
This five-year-old I Am Invincible mare trained by Grant & Alana Williams has three wins and five places from eight starts. At the end of last campaign she ran on strongly for 0.9 length 2nd over 1400m at Belmont on 26 June. Following a 17 week spell she raced tight before finishing 5 lengths 3rd over 1000m at Ascot on 23 October. Has won or placed in all her races and can win here.

Success Play (Ascot Race 7 No. 4):
This three-year-old Playing God gelding trained by Neville Parnham has two wins and two places from eight starts. He forged ahead in the final strides for a 0.2 length win over 1300m at Northam on 14 October, then took over on straightening for a 1.4 length win over 1600m at Ascot on 30 October. He has hit form at the right time and looks a great each-way chance in the Fairetha Stakes.

Regal Power (Ascot Race 8 No. 1):
This six-year-old Pierro gelding trained by Grant & Alana Williams has seven wins and seven places from 24 starts and is the early favourite in the Group 2 Lee Steere Stakes over 1400m. Last campaign he finished 6.3 lengths 9th in the Group 2 Peter Young Stakes over 1800m at Caulfield on 20 February. Resuming after 34 weeks he ran 1.2 lengths 4th in the Group 3 Northerly Stakes over 1400m at Ascot on 16 October. He does his best over longer distances and I’m willing to risk him here.

Key Comments The rail is true. The best bet can land us a win in the first. Best Bet Pee Dee (Quirindi Race 2 No. 1) Has been sound in both efforts to date and this race lacks any depth. The 5th last start is better than it reads on paper and that is in a race much harder than this. Goes in the mix here. Check odds on SmartB Analyst: Bhakti Dave Each Way

Horse Racing Tips: NSW Tuesday 30th April 2024

Key Comments A big 10 race card takes place. The rail is in 3 metres. The track usually suits those who can sustain a long run to the line. That will suit the best bet who loves racing here and comes up later in the day. Best Bet Flame Tree Star (Grafton Race 1 No. 1) Has a booming turn of foot and while Swanston doesn't have the easiest pattern to catch, this track does suit and that shows with the 9 placings
