Our Pinjarra Park Horse Racing Tips for the weekend. PLEASE NOTE:  DUE TO EXTREME TEMPERATURES FORECAST FOR SATURDAY THIS MEETING HAS BEEN ABANDONED.  THE RACES SCHEDULED WILL NOW BE RUN ON SUNDAY 6 FEBRUARY.

Spin The Knife (Pinjarra Park Race 7 No. 1)
With two wins and a close 2nd from his last three starts, this Snippetson gelding looks well-placed in the Magic Millions 3YO Trophy. He found the front but was picked off in the final stride for 0.1 length 2nd over 1000m at Ascot on 9 October, then was spelled. When resuming he led all the way for a 1.7 length win over 1100m at Ascot on 24 January. Will give them something to chase.

Lipstick Flickers (Pinjarra Park Race 6 No. 3):
This six-year-old Murtajill mare trained by Adam Durrant has had 24 starts for five wins and 11 places. Back on 3 July she had the box seat to the turn then faded steadily to finish 3.2 lengths 8th over 1000m at Belmont, then was spelled for 29 weeks. She resumes for 2.7 lengths 2nd over 1300m at Mount Barker on 23 January. Placed at her only other run at this track and looks a nice each-way chance again.

Clairvoyance (Pinjarra Park Race 10 No. 1):
This four-year-old Nostradamus mare trained by Darren McAuliffe is the early favourite in the Ducimus Crown (Rtg 72+) over 1200m. When resuming after 40 weeks she led early but stopped quickly in the final 100m to finish 2.2 lengths 7th in the Listed Miss Andretti Stakes over 1100m at Ascot on 15 January where she had issues with her tongue over the bit. Last start she faded again for 5 lengths 12th in the Listed Scenic Blast Stakes over 1200m at Ascot on 29 January. The winkers go back on but she hasn’t regained her 3YO form and I’m willing to risk her here.
