Our Belmont Horse Racing Tips for Saturday’s meeting.
Western Knight (Belmont Race 8 No. 9)
This four-year-old gelding trained by Adam Durrant has one win and two places from four starts. He was slowly away and ran on strongly in the straight with fast closing splits to finish 1.6 lengths 2nd over 1200m at Belmont on 27 August, then got caught in traffic on the turn before getting a split at the 200m and winding up for 0.2 length 2nd with the best final 400m of the race. Has had some bad luck and looks ready to win.

Alsephina (Belmont Race 9 No. 10)
This four-year-old mare won for us last week and has been stepping up in distance. She finished 0.3 length 2nd over 1300m at Belmont on 3 September, then overhauled the leader late for a 0.7 length win over 1400m at Belmont on 17 September. Steps up to 1650m for the first time but looks like that won’t be a problem. A nice each-way chance.

Street Parade (Belmont Race 4 No. 7)
This three-year-old gelding is the early favourite in this Graduation Handicap(1MW) over 1000m. He finished a close 2nd in the Listed Perth Stakes over 1100m at Ascot on 19 March, then finished 6.7 lengths 10th in the Group 2 Karrakatta Plate over 1200m at Ascot on 2 April. Resumes from a 25 week break against race fit horses and I’m prepared to risk him.
