This four-year-old Redoute’s Choice mare has five wins and a place from eight starts. She ran on strongly taking over at the 100m and kept going for a 1.57 length win over 1200m at Ascot on 11 April then was spelled. She resumed after 23 weeks for a narrow win over 1200m at Belmont where she had the best closing 400m sectional. She should be hard to beat.

Ocean’s Fifteen (Ascot Race 6 No. 5):
This five-year-old Redoute’s Choice gelding has two wins and five places from nine starts. He resumed from a 20 week spell with 1.58 length 2nd over 1200m at Belmont on 19 September, then took an inside run for 0.52, 0.83 length 3rd over 1200m at Ascot on 10 October . He is fitter now and should be able to place again.

Best Lay
Western Pride (Ascot Race 5 No. 6):
This five-year-old Animal Kingdom mare is the early favourite in this 66+ handicap over 1400m. She was eased down for 17.11 lengths 16th over 1600m at Belmont on 20 June when the jockey became concerned with her action. After a break of 13 weeks she resumed for 0.34 length 2nd over 1400m at Belmont on 19 September. This is a race with several chances and she does not represent value.
