This four-year-old Playing God gelding trained by Michael Grantham has two wins and a place from six starts. He resumed from a spell for a 4.5 length win over 1400m at Northam on 12 May, then fought evenly for 1.7 lengths 4th over 1400m at Belmont on 21 May. Back from a 13 week break, goes well fresh and handles slower tracks. He won a recent Lark Hill trial on heavy going and rates very highly here.

Arcadia Grace (Belmont Race 9 No. 9)
She goes well at this track, has won on heavy going and the only query is whether she will run out the mile. This four-year-old Hinchinbrook mare resumed from a spell for 0.3 length 3rd over 1200m at Belmont on 20 July, then won by over a length on heavy going over 1300m at Belmont on 6 August. Looks well worth an each-way bet.

Born To Rule (Belmont Race 4 No. 7)
This mare from the Adam Durrant stable is the early favourite in this No Metro Wins Last Year handicap over 1000m. She started favourite and ran 5 lengths 7th over 1100m at Ascot on 16 March at the end of last campaign. She resumed for 3.5 lengths 3rd over 1000m at Belmont on 6 August, where she started favourite again. Has been an expensive horse for punters and I’m willing to risk her here.
