The feature race is the Listed Kalgoorlie Cup (race 8).
Prize Pursuit (Kalgoorlie Race 5 No. 1)

He overraced in the early and middle stages before finishing 3 lengths 4th over 1400m at Pinjarra Park on 18 August, then grabbed the lead at the 150m and won by 1.7 lengths over 1200m at his first race at the track on 4 September. Nurhaci (Kalgoorlie Race 6 No. 6)
This six-year-old Nicconi gelding is trained by Peter Fernie at Kalgoorlie. He faded for 5 lengths 7th in the Coolgardie Sprint over 1300m on 4 September, then wound up steadily and drew clear late for a 1.4 length win over 1300m at Kalgoorlie on 18 September. Well-placed here and looks a nice each-way chance.

Shoot Ur Shot (Kalgoorlie Race 3 No. 3)
This five-year-old Shooting To Win gelding is the early favourite in this Rating 66+ Handicap race over 1600m. He was ran down in the final stride to finish 2nd over 1760m at Kalgoorlie on 31 July, then was a narrow winner of the Tattersals Cup over 1612m at Kalgoorlie on 21 August.
