This four-year-old Tavistock mare trained by Daniel & Ben Pearce has five wins and four places from 21 starts. She ran on strongly doing best late for a 0.4 length win over 1850m at Mount Barker on 23 January, then was held up from the turn to the 250m and ran on well after for 2.8 lengths 5th over 2000m at Pinjarra Park on 6 February. Likely to race just off the speed and looks well-placed here.

Off Wego (Ascot Race 7 No. 11):
Off Wego has three wins and nine places from his 19 starts. He hit the line well as the winner got by wider late for 0.4 length 2nd at Mount Barker on 23 January, then ran on strongly taking over late for a length win over 2000m at Pinjarra Park on 6 February. Has drawn wide but rates highly and looks a nice each-way bet.

Spirited Session (Ascot Race 3 No. 6):
This four-year-old Sessions gelding trained by Justine Erkelens is the early favourite in this No Metro Wins Handicap race over 1400m. He led early and was overhauled late to finish a length 4th over 1200m at Belmont on 26 January, then ran on strongly for a very close 2nd over 1300m at Pinjarra Park on 6 February. Has only won once in 14 starts and I’m prepared to risk him.
