He was outmuscled late when 0.3 length 2nd over 1200m at Ascot on 16 March, then had a fight to overhaul the leaders in the final strides for a 0.3 length win in a 3YO handicap over 1400m at Ascot on 2 April. Will be hard to beat on the minimum weight.

This five-year-old grey War Chant mare trained by Neville Parnham has 10 wins and six places from 25 starts. She edged ahead at the 150m but was overhauled late for 0.7 length 2nd over 1200m at Ascot on 19 March, then got the bob in for a narrow win over 1000m at Ascot on 9 April. Six of her wins have been at this track and she handles soft going. A great each-way bet.

This four-year-old Shooting to Win gelding is the early favourite in this RTG 72+ Handicap over 1600m. He made a huge run from last to finish 2.8 lengths 4th in the Listed Grandstand Cup over 1500m at Ascot on 19 March, then ran on gamely for 0.1 length 2nd in the Listed Old Comrade Stakes over 1600m at Ascot on 2 April. Get blinkers back on but goes up sharply in weight. Other runners offer better value.
