God Has Chosen (Ascot Race 4 No. 9)
This four-year-old Playing God gelding trained by Lindsey Smith has three wins and two places from five starts. When resuming from a 37 week spell he wound up gamely through the ruck for 0.5 length 2nd over 1100m at Northam on 20 October, then charged clear in the final 150m for a 2.7 length win over 1400m at Ascot on 30 October. Has shown lots of ability and should win again.

Written Matter (Ascot Race 1 No. 6):
This four-year-old Written Tycoon gelding trained by Chris & Michael Gangemi has two wins from three starts. He took over at the 150m and won by 2.2 lengths over 1300m at Belmont on 26 May, then didn’t run on and finished 8.9 lengths 8th in the Raconteur Stakes over 1400m at Belmont on 5 June. Resumes here after a 23 week spell and won a recent Belmont trial. Looks a great each-way chance first-up.

Holy Enchantment (Ascot Race 2 No. 2):
This four-year-old Playing God gelding trained by Stephen Miiller has one win and five places from nine starts and is the early favourite in this No Metro Wins Handicap over 1400m. He wound up gamely for 1.2 lengths 2nd over 1500m at Pinjarra Park on 21 February, then chased well for 3 lengths 2nd in the J.C. Roberts Stakes over 1800m at Ascot on 13 March. Hasn’t won first-up before and I’m prepared to risk him here.

Horse Racing Tips : TAS Wednesday 28th February 2024
Our Launceston Horse Racing Tips for Wednesday. The track is a Soft 5 and the rail is +3 metres. The features are the Hellova Street Stakes (race 7), Launceston Cup (race 8) and Vamos Stakes (race 9). As a general rule, runners who land in the front half of the field are suited at this track, with an advantage to those who find the inside lanes in the straight. Best Bet D'oro Star (Launceston Race 5 No. 1) He's been in the trifecta
Horse Racing Tips : VIC Tuesday 27th February 2024
Our Bendigo Tips for Tuesday's meeting. Key Comments 9 race card. Expecting those on speed to be suited. The rail is out 3 metres and the best bet comes up a big price. Best Bet Doncic (Bendigo Race 4 No. 4) Nommed for Wednesday as well so may not be racing here. Looked to be full of running in a recent trial and found no room on debut. Drawn to find clean air here and strikes the right race. $8.50
Horse Racing Tips : NSW Tuesday February 27th 2024
The rail is in the true position. Bullock has been riding in terrific form and comes up with a strong card again. He looks the jockey to follow on a card full of favourites that are hard to beat. Best Bet Sardonyx (Scone Race 2 No.3 ) A key scratching comes out and leaves Sardonyx very hard to beat. Maps well, Bullock steers and gets the right race here. Hard to beat at goods still. $2.90 Best Each Way
Horse Racing Tips : NSW Monday 26th February 2024
Our Newcastle tips for Monday's meeting. Key Comments The rail is in 5 metres. Heavy conditions expected so looking towards runners that are proven on wet tracks. Best Bet Dale (Newcastle Race 6 No. 2) No prizes for finding this runner but put in a solid effort on debut and drops miles in grade. In smartly at the weights here and with no jockey booked yet does look very hard to hold out in this thin maiden. $1.40 l
