This four-year-old Universal Ruler mare trained by Vaughn Sigley has two wins and four places from eight starts. She ran on strongly drawing clear in the final 100m for a 2 length win over 1400m at Ascot on 24 January, then sprinted ahead at the 200m for a 2 length win over 1300m at Belmont on 2 February. Back in distance and should make it a hat-trick of wins.

Amasenus (Ascot Race 8 No. 2):
Amasenus has eight wins and four places from her 17 starts. At the end of last campaign she got there in the final stride for a 0.1 length win over 1200m at Belmont on 24 July, then was spelled for 27 weeks. When resuming she drove hard for 0.8 length 2nd in the Listed Scenic Blast Stakes over 1200m at Ascot on 29 January. She is a talented mare and looks a great each-way bet.

Cristal Dane (Ascot Race 7 No. 3):
This six-year-old Patronize mare trained by Dion Luciani is the early favourite in this One Metro Win Graduation Handicap race over 1200m. She was picked off late for 0.4 length 2nd over 1200m at Ascot on 8 January, then tried hard for a close 2nd over 1200m at Ascot om 29 January. Has only one win from 20 outings to Ascot, and I’m prepared to risk her.
