Saturday Sinner | (Kalgoorlie Race 1 No.2)
This bloke was a tragedy-beaten last start in his first start for the Carapellotti stable. He looked to be travelling in the straight before getting tired and laying in in the straight to go down by the smallest of margins. He also travelled keen in the run, hence why I think they have put on a more experienced rider and the drop back to 1100m won’t hurt. They may just take a sit this time from barrier 5 but I think he will be too good either way.

She’s Puzzling | (Kalgoorlie Race 2 No.7)
It was a good debut for this daughter of My Admiration, despite the fact she was held up several times in the straight in her 1.4 length defeat. Despite going up 100m in distance, this is a much easier maiden for her to contest and the draw should have her in a closer spot throughout. With race day experience under her belt, she goes close here.

Born Spicy (Ascot Race 3 No. 3)
Happy to take this bloke on. Although his draw looks ideal, there is an abundance of pace to his outside, so he won’t get the run he has had in the past. Judging by his past runs, he can be a tough one to handle, so the addition of a new jockey and an apprentice at that may pose a problem. Risk at the price.

Ninetyone Dwyer | (Kalgoorlie Race 5 No.8)
I reckon Kristina Clarke has this girl figured out now as she comes into this third-up contest. She went down by around half a length last start, in a race where the top four beat the rest of the field by over 2.5 lengths and the horse that ran third won at Ascot on Saturday. This looks like an easier contest and sticking to 1400m is good and the draw is favourable. A repeat of her last run has her going close.

Meet Joe Black | (Kalgoorlie Race 7 No.2)
This bloke is ready to rock and roll into this race, nearing peak fitness third-up. He over-raced a touch last start in his 0.7 length defeat so the change in jockey to Jett Stanley is a good move as he has ridden him before in his biggest win to date and they get a vital 2kg claim, which sees him better off against his last start rivals. Up to 1600m is no issue and he is drawn well, with the gelding likely to lead them up. I expect them to be in front for a long way, winning will be down to the breaks they get in front.

Key Comments The rail is true. The best bet can land us a win in the first. Best Bet Pee Dee (Quirindi Race 2 No. 1) Has been sound in both efforts to date and this race lacks any depth. The 5th last start is better than it reads on paper and that is in a race much harder than this. Goes in the mix here. Check odds on SmartB Analyst: Bhakti Dave Each Way

Key Comments A big 10 race card takes place. The rail is in 3 metres. The track usually suits those who can sustain a long run to the line. That will suit the best bet who loves racing here and comes up later in the day. Best Bet Flame Tree Star (Grafton Race 1 No. 1) Has a booming turn of foot and while Swanston doesn't have the easiest pattern to catch, this track does suit and that shows with the 9 placings
