Rebelzone | (Ascot Race 2 No. 5)
After replicating her peak run from last preparation first-up, Rebelzone looks well placed to make it back-to-back wins here. She had a dream run last start before popping off them and making a well-timed run up the straight. I love the move back to 1000m from 1200m here, especially now with the smaller field. She is drawn to get a similar run and I expect her to be right in the finish again.

Grace Du Roi | (Ascot Race 8 No.2) / Big Swooper | (Ascot Race 8 No.7)
Two horse I don’t mind in the final event is Grace Du Roi and Big Swoop. Grace Du Roi arguably should be going for four wins in a row after a luckless third two back at Albany. Last start, however, over a mile, she was way too good for them, winning by under a length under her own steam. I don’t think 1800m will be an issue for her and she draws to do little work again. Big Swoop is the one that will dictate this race’s speed. He will fly across from the outside barrier to lead these up, over a track and distance he saluted at ten days ago. The distance is no worry for him and if he decides to roll along, he is going to be hard to topple.

Snips Rock | (Ascot Race 5 No.13)
The daughter of Snippetson hasn’t shown a lot in her two runs to date and she enters this with an awkward draw and a she goes up to 1400m for the first time. Happy to be against as she will be giving the others a head start and she will need some luck.
