Lucky Decision (Sandown Hillside Race 4 No. 2)
Lucky Decision has had two prep runs over the 1400m at Caulfield to get ready for this. Thought the latest effort was very solid – beaten less than 2 lengths and the winner has come out and won impressively again since. He finished second over this distance in the Group 2 Autumn Classic last prep and has won both of his Sandown starts.

Do It La (Sandown Hillside Race 7 No. 14)
Do It La was taken back from the wide gate first up at Moonee Valley and was able to finish off well enough down the outside to suggest she has come back in good order. She wasn’t far away in the VRC Sires Produce and Mornington Guineas last prep and that form reads well for this. Expect her to be much handier in the run here from the good draw. 54 kg on her back. Looks a solid each-way play here.

Miss Balvenie (Sandown Hillside Race 3 No. 11)
Miss Balvenie is currently rated a $3.40 chance in race three on the card. She gets a nice drop in weight, however all of her wins thus far have come fresh and I have some question marks over the strength of the race she won first up. Thought she was short enough here considering.
