Not surprised to see some good support in early betting markets for Godolphin colt Aft Cabin. He travelled into the race beautifully on debut at Warwick Farm, looking the winner, before being nosed out in the finish (think that was just a lack of experience). He will derive good benefit from that run and gets Jamie Kah for this. Just needs to handle the firmer track here and I think he will be winning. Looks a real talent.

Jay Gatsby (Sandown Hillside Race 5 No. 2)
Despite a wide run Jay Gatsby was too strong in the finish two starts ago at Warracknabeal. Form out of that race has been very good with both the second and third placed horses winning since. Last start had no luck at Mildura in the worst part of the track. Complete forgive. Gets a more experienced apprentice and is better suited drawn out this time around. Worth an each way ticket at $9/$2.90 here in a very winnable benchmark 64.

Marcolt is currently rated a $4 chance in race seven on the program. He is always there abouts but rarely wins. A low percentage horse who represents no value at the current odds.
