He led going for home and was gathered in late for 0.2 length 2nd over 1200m at Gawler on 8 January, then battled away to finish 4.1 lengths 3rd over 1100m at Gawler on a heavy track on 22 January. Drops in grade and should be hard to beat.

Garret Lynch at Murray Bridge trains this six-year-old Harbour Watch gelding trained who has seven wins and 18 places from 56 starts. He came from last to work home nicely for 2.2 lengths 6th over 1600m at Murray Bridge on 26 January, then came from last for a 1.1 length win over 1600m at Murray Bridge on 2 February. Has placed at this track before and looks a nice each-way bet.

Grey Vitality (Gawler Race 7 No. 9):
This four-year-old Barbados mare is the early favourite in this BM 54 handicap over 1506m. She battled one-paced in the straight for 5.8 lengths 7th over 1350m at Port Lincoln on 31 December, then came from last with a big run for a 3.2 length win over 1400m at Oakbank on 19 January. Has drawn the outside bariier and has not won or placed in three outings to Gawler before. Prepared to risk her.
