Bignota | (Murray Bridge Race 8 No. 4)
I landed with the son of All Too Hard who has been nothing but consistent in this preparation. Two starts backed he showed a good kick before getting beaten on the line, and a similar thing happened last start, beaten half a length on the line. Despite being drawn wide, there isn’t any pace involved and he should be able to get an easy lead with Lizzie Annells aboard and her 2kg claim. The way this bloke runs, we will be holding our breath on the line, unless they give him a free pass in front, and if they do, he will be hard to run down.

Tavikat | (Murray Bridge Race 9 No.7)
Tavikat is a consistent galloper who has placed six times and won once in eight starts, with the one time he missed out, he ran fourth. He finally broke that maiden status last start, albeit in a dead-heat after he looked home. He is drawn well though the amount of speed to his outside will determine where he ends up in the run, though I believe Hurdle will push for the lead. He gets his blinkers off whilst stepping up to 1400m for the first time, so if the speed is slower than predicted, he couldn’t be hard to run down.

Best Lay
Insaaf | (Murray Bridge Race 9 No. 9)
Can’t see why this girl has come up favourite, maybe it’s the jockey/trainer combo. She has drawn wide on the back of a poor run at Oakbank where the vet report came back fine. Although 1400m might suit, I think she is going to give them a start, and it might be too hard for her.

Key Comments The rail is true. The best bet can land us a win in the first. Best Bet Pee Dee (Quirindi Race 2 No. 1) Has been sound in both efforts to date and this race lacks any depth. The 5th last start is better than it reads on paper and that is in a race much harder than this. Goes in the mix here. Check odds on SmartB Analyst: Bhakti Dave Each Way

Key Comments A big 10 race card takes place. The rail is in 3 metres. The track usually suits those who can sustain a long run to the line. That will suit the best bet who loves racing here and comes up later in the day. Best Bet Flame Tree Star (Grafton Race 1 No. 1) Has a booming turn of foot and while Swanston doesn't have the easiest pattern to catch, this track does suit and that shows with the 9 placings
