Horse Racing Tips : SA Wednesday 2nd November 2022

Our Port Lincoln Racing Tips for Wednesdays meeting.

Best Bet

Allusion  (Port Lincoln Race 4 No. 2)
This seven-year-old Not a Single Doubt gelding trained by Claudette Rose has had 28 starts for three wins and seven places. He was held up from the 400m to the 150m before running 8 lengths 9th over 1800m at Murray Bridge on 14 October, then didn’t come on in the straight and finished 5.4 lengths 10th over 1700m at Gawler on 21 October. Likely to race near the speed in a race without much earl pace. Gets Kayla Crowther and should go well.

How to pick a winner

Best Each Way

Mr Whitacre (Port Lincoln Race 8 No. 6):
This six-year-old Deep Field gelding has three wins and seven places from 20 starts. At the end of last campaign he was a 1.1 length winner over 1210m at Port Lincoln on 13 April, then was spelled for 26 weeks. He resumed for 5,5 lengths 5th over 1200m at Balaklava on 12 October and can improve second-up and back on his home track. Looks a nice each-way chance.

$7

Best Lay

Effortkat (Port Lincoln Race 9 No. 8):
This six-year-old Reward for Effort mare trained by Shayne Cahill at Strathalbyn is the early favourite in this Fillies and Mares BM 58 Handicap over 1000m. She never looked likely when 8 lengths 9th over 1000m at Morphwttville Parks on 24 September, then was never in it when 11.7 lengths 9th over 1000m at Murray Bridge on 14 October. She does go well at this track, but there are other runners who have won here before too and I’m prepared to risk her here.

Horse Racing Tips : SA Wednesday 20th March 2024

Our Murray Bridge Horse Racing Tips for Wednesday's meeting. Key Comments The track is currently rated Soft 5 and the rail is +3 metres the entire circuit including the 1800m and 2000m chutes. Best Bet Startide (Murray Bridge Race 7 No. 4) Startide is first-up from a 21 week spell and was a close runner-up in an Open Trial at Gawler. She has good first-up form and has raced in stronger fields than this. Strong chance. $3.30

Horse Racing Tips : WA Wednesday 20th March 2024

Our Belmont Horse Racing Tips for Wednesday's meeting. The track is rated as a Good 4 and the rail is +8 metres the entire circuit. Best Bet Why Me  (Belmont Race 7 No. 7) Why me chased strongly coming from near the tail of the field to win over 1600m at Albany to break his maiden status on 10th March. He's shown ability and looks capable of going on with it now. $2.15    Best Each

Horse Racing Tips : NSW Wednesday 20th March 2024

Our Wyong Tips for Wednesday's meeting. Key Comments The rail is in 3 metres. Expecting the best bet to kick off the day with a win on the back of a very strong second placing on debut. Best Bet Just Party (Wyong Race 1 No. 1) Just Party was left a sitting duck after doing too much early work but there was plenty of merit in the debut effort. Drawn kinder here, strips fitter and Tim Clark remains in the saddle. This

Horse Racing Tips : QLD Wednesday 20th March 2024

Our Doomben Horse Racing Tips for the 20th of March. The rail is in 6 metres and the track is in the soft range. A small 7 race card with the best bet in the first. Best Bet Bella Tivaci (Doomben Race 1 No. 2) Knocking on the door for a win and has been heavily tried to score here. Barrier 1 will afford every chance, Jones rides and this race is lacking depth. $2.10
