Our Murray Bridge Racing Tips for Wednesday’s meeting.
Reynolds (Murray Bridge Race 8 No. 5)
This five-year-old Exceed And Excel gelding trained by Michael Hickmott has had 10 starts for two wins and two places. He is an import who had two races in the UK then six races in Hong Kong When resuming from a 37 week spell he was a 3.4 length winner of a maiden plate over 1400m at Oakbank on 3 April, then followed up with a 1.4 length win in a BM 60 over 1520m at Morphettville on 10 April. He looks nicely placed here and should win again.

Devonte (Murray Bridge Race 6 No. 7):
This five-year-old gelding has two win and seven places from 24 starts. At the end of last campaign he was taken very wide and couldn’t come on for 5 lengths 8th over 1000m at Murray Bridge on 22 July. When resuming after 33 weeks he hooked out wide and ran home strongly late for 2.5 lengths 2nd over 1000m at Morphettville Parks on 13 March. That was an encouraging return and he looks worth an each-way wager.

Chill With Teejay (Murray Bridge Race 7 No. 1):
This three-year-old filly is the early favourite in this Fillies and mares Class 2 handicap over 1200m. She jumped awkwardly and lost her position approaching the turn before finishing 3.2 lengths 5th over 1000m at Morphettville Parks on 20 March, then weakened in the straight to finish 4.8 lengths 6th over 1200m at Morphettville on 10 April. She has been allocated topweight here against the older mares and despite the 3kg claim I think she will find this too tough.
