Our Gawler Racing Tips for Wednesday’s meeting.
Secret War (Gawler Race 4 No. 1)
This six-year-old Atomic gelding trained by G & N Searle & B Callanan has three wins and three places from six starts. He was gunned down late for a length 3rd over 1100m at Gawler in a BM68 on 25 April, then was three wide with no cover before finishing 2 lengths 4th in the SA Sprint Series Final (BM82) over 1100m at Morphettville on 8 May. Resumes here after 29 weeks on his home track and won first-up last time in. Should be the testing material.

Each Way
Gondolier (Gawler Race 2 No. 2):
This five-year-old Host gelding trained by John Macmillan has three wins and 11 places from 31 starts. He raced wide with no cover before steadily fading in the final 200m for 7.7 lengths 6th over 2000m at Bordertown on a soft track on 29 October, before peeling wide and gathering in the leader late for a 0.4 length win over 2050m at Strathalbyn on 17 November. Has won two from five this campaign and looks a nice each-way chance with Todd Pannell riding.

Best Lay
Carry The Musket (Gawler Race 6 No. 6):
This four-year-old Sepoy gelding trained by G & N Searle & B Callanan is the early favourite in this BM 62 Handicap over 1719m. When resuming from a 19 week spell he came from well back in the field and made good ground in the final 175m for 2.4 lengths 3rd over 1400m at Murray Bridge on 15 October, then came clear in the final 300m for a 2.4 length win in a maiden plate over 1600m at Morphettville on 2 November. He will find this much harder and I am prepared to risk him here.

Our Murray Bridge Horse Racing Tips for Wednesday's meeting. Key Comments The track is currently rated Soft 5 and the rail is +3 metres the entire circuit including the 1800m and 2000m chutes. Best Bet Startide (Murray Bridge Race 7 No. 4) Startide is first-up from a 21 week spell and was a close runner-up in an Open Trial at Gawler. She has good first-up form and has raced in stronger fields than this. Strong chance. $3.30

Our Belmont Horse Racing Tips for Wednesday's meeting. The track is rated as a Good 4 and the rail is +8 metres the entire circuit. Best Bet Why Me (Belmont Race 7 No. 7) Why me chased strongly coming from near the tail of the field to win over 1600m at Albany to break his maiden status on 10th March. He's shown ability and looks capable of going on with it now. $2.15 Best Each

Our Wyong Tips for Wednesday's meeting. Key Comments The rail is in 3 metres. Expecting the best bet to kick off the day with a win on the back of a very strong second placing on debut. Best Bet Just Party (Wyong Race 1 No. 1) Just Party was left a sitting duck after doing too much early work but there was plenty of merit in the debut effort. Drawn kinder here, strips fitter and Tim Clark remains in the saddle. This

Our Doomben Horse Racing Tips for the 20th of March. The rail is in 6 metres and the track is in the soft range. A small 7 race card with the best bet in the first. Best Bet Bella Tivaci (Doomben Race 1 No. 2) Knocking on the door for a win and has been heavily tried to score here. Barrier 1 will afford every chance, Jones rides and this race is lacking depth. $2.10
