This four-year-old Skilled gelding trained by Peter Hardacre at Mount Gambier has one win and one places from three starts. He was winded to the line when 5.8 lengths 7th over 1050m at Oakbank on 22 December, then battled on to grab 2nd over 1100m at Bordertown on 5 January. Should be fitter and has drawn barrier one making him a good each-way bet.

Starlocket (Oakbank Race 3 No. 12):
This three-year-old Star Witness filly trained by John Hyam is the early favourite in this 3YO & Up Maiden Plate over 1400m. At her 2nd start she plugged away in the straight for 10 lengths 10th over 1200m at Strathalbyn on 28 November, then raced greenly in the straight but kept working home to finish 1.4 lengths 3rd over 1400m at Oakbank on 22 December, Has drawn the inside barrier but others look to have better chances.
