This six-year-old  Husson gelding trained by Peter Moody at Strathalbyn has six wins and eight places from 37 starts. He was slowly away and made some ground late for 3.4 lengths 9th over 1300m at Bordertown on 19 May, then came from well back in the field for a 1.2 length win over 1350m at Strathalbyn on 26 May. How to pick a winner

Each Way

Pretty Glass (Gawler Race 8 No. 2):
This seven-year-old Hussonet mare trained by Roslyn Day at Murray Bridge has six wins and seven places from 31 starts. She resumed from a 10 week let-up for 2.1 lengths 6th over 1300m at Bordertown on 19 May, then was badly held up at the 300m to 100m before getting clear and making good ground for 2.1 lengths 6th over 1300m at Penola on 30 May. Should be fitter now and takes a 3kg claim. Looks a good each-way chance.

Best Lay

Honey Go Lightly (Gawler Race 4 No. 1):
This four-year-old Wandjina mare trained by Brett Campbell at Gawler is the early favourite in this BM 54 handicap over 1100m. She loomed strongly at the top of the straight and kept fighting but was overpowered in the final 100m and finished 1.9 lengths 4th over 1200m at Gawler on 16 May, then battled away for 1.5 lengths 2nd over 1100m at Strathalbyn on 26 May. She has only won once in 13 starts and offers no value.
