Inspired Sun (Strathalbyn Race 6 No. 1)
Went well here last time. This five-year-old Fighting Sun gelding trained by David Jolly was well back throughout when 10.7 lengths 6th over 1400m at Warrnambool on 9 December, then chased strongly and hit the line hard for 0.4 length 2nd over 1200m at Strathalbyn on 30 January. Gets the blinkers back on and looks beautifully placed here.

Mavette (Strathalbyn Race 4 No. 4):
This five-year-old Al Maher gelding trained by John Hickmott & Carinna Riggs has four wins and eight places from 43 starts. He came from well back in the field to finish 1.6 lengths 3rd over 1600m at Murray Bridge on 2 February, then peeled out wide and battled on for 2.4 lengths 5th over 1706m at Gawler on 9 February. Has a win and a place from four previous visits to this track and looks a nice each-way chance.

Jack’s A Cracker (Strathalbyn Race 7 No. 3):
This five-year-old Crackerjack King gelding is the early favourite in this BM 62 handicap over 2050m. He was held up at the 400m and never got fully clear when 5.4 lengths 11th over 2050m at Strathalbyn on 30 January, then worked home well late to grab 2nd over 1706m at Gawler on 9 February at his first run back in the Grant Young stable. Willing to risk him here.
