He came from last with a big run to get there on the line for a 0.1 length win over 1100m at Morphettville on 13 August, then enjoyed a trail just off the leader to finish 3.2 lengths 4th over 1050m at Morphettville on 3 September. He was a 2 length winner at this track three starts back and will be hard to beat.

He resumes from a 19 week spell and looks ready to go following a convincing trial win at Murray Bridge. Was placed at Bordertown on debut and is a solid each-way chance with Barend Vorster riding.

Jimmy’s Edge (Balaklava Race 5 No. 2)
This four-year-old Zebedee gelding is the early favourite in this BM 54 Handicap over 1050m. He worked early before battling away for 2.2 lengths 4th over 1000m at Morphettville Parks on 17 August, then led them up before peaking in the final 100m for 1.6 lengths 7th over 1000m at Murray Bridge on 31 August. Perfectly drawn but think the extra 50m could see him fade.
