Our Murray Bridge Racing Tips for Wednesday’s meeting.

Lutz  (Murray Bridge Race 5 No. 5)
This three-year-old Panzer Division gelding trained by Richard and Chantelle Jolly at Morphettville has two wins and one place from seven starts. He worked over to lead narrowly on the rails before being headed at the 400m and battled on for 2.3 lengths 4th over 1800m at Murray Bridge on 23 June, then was well back on the turn but worked home strongly for a 0.6 length win over 2212m at Balaklava on 30 June. Rates highly and looks a top chance here.

How to pick a winner

Each Way

Sharply Attired (Murray Bridge Race 9 No. 9):
This four-year-old Epaulette mare has one win and three places from 11 starts and the win was over this distance. She was always well back when she finished 6.6 lengths 8th of 12 over 1800m at Murray Bridge on 16 January, then plugged steadily and pulled up lame when 7.2 lengths 9th over 1350m at Strathalbyn on 31 January. She resumes after 23 week and goes well fresh. Worth an each-way wager.

Best Lay

Arthuras (Murray Bridge Race 8 No. 3):
This four-year-old Good Journey gelding trained by Sue Jaensch is the early favourite in this BM 54 handicap over 1800m. She took over at the 400m but tired in the final 50m for 0.4, 0.3 lengths 3rd over 1800m at Murray Bridge on 23 June, then raced ungenerously and never looked likely when 3.5 lengths 8th over 1600m at Murray Bridge on 3 July. Up in weight and distance and I am willing to risk her here.
