He chased steadily for 4 lengths 9th over 1300m at Sandown Hillside on a soft track on 12 August, then battled on steadily for 2.45 lengths 7th in a BM64 over 1400m at Sale on 30 August. He has had a 10 week let-up and placed when last first-up. He looks well-placed in this Class 1 handicap and should win.

This four=year-old Unencumbered gelding trained by Phillip Stokes has five places from six starts. He held on to 3rd when 0.6, 3.8 lengths 3rd in a maiden plate over 1400m ay Murray Bridge on 9 September, the chased strongly but was outgunned late for a length 2nd over 1400m at Murray Bridge on 16 October. He should be fitter now and looks a good each-way chance.

This four-year-old Master Of Design gelding is the early favourite in this BM 58 handicap over 1600m. He finished 10.4 lengths 10th over 2065m at Strathalbyn on 27 May, then had a 21 week spell. He resumed for 4 lengths 8th over 1500m at Gawler on 23 October where he made steady ground without threatening. Others offer better value here
