This four-year-old Deep Field mare trained by Tony & Calvin McEvoy has one win and two places from seven starts. At the end of last campaign she kept fighting hard for 5.5 lengths 3rd over 1100m at Gawler on 16 May, then was spelled for 23 weeks. She resumed for a 1.2 length win in a maiden plate over 1000m at Murray Bridge on 27 October and looks capable of back-to-back wins.

Last Zerprise (Murray Bridge Race 8 No. 5):
This three-year-old Foxwedge filly has one win and one place from four starts and her win was at this track. She made ground in the straight for 4.1 lengths 7th over 1400m at Murray Bridge on 15 October, then was held up from the 200-100m but drove through late once clear for a 0.1 length win over 1400m at Murray Bridge on 27 October. Should go well and looks a nice each-way chance.

Muffla (Murray Bridge Race 6 No. 7):
This four-year-old Free Eagle gelding trained by Peter Blanch is the early favourite in this BM 54 Handicap over 1400m. He battled steadily in the straight for 3.1 lengths 5th over 1522m at Gawler on 18 August then had a nine week let-up. At his latest start he finished 2.1 lengths 8th over 1300m at Morphettville Parks on 23 October. He hasn’t won in five previous outings to this track and I’m prepared to risk him.
