He resumed after 43 weeks for 6 lengths 8th over 1400m at Morphettville Parks on 16 July and took massive improvement from that run to win by 1.8 lengths over 1600m here on 30 July. He goes well at this track and should win again.

This six-year-old Shamus Award gelding trained by Will Clarken has six wins and seven places from 19 starts. He kept finding for a 0.2 length win over 1600m at Morphettville on 25 June, then lost a plate when 4.7 lengths 6th over 1700m at Caulfield on 9 July. Returns from an 8 week let-up and comes back to 1050m, but has won from 1000m to 1600m. Has only missed the quinella once in 9 outings on this track so looks a great each-way chance.

This four-year-old Rich Enuff gelding trained by Jon O’Connor is the early favourite in this Colts, Geldings & Entires 0-62 Handicap over 1200m. He won a BM 54 by 4.2 lengths over 1400m at Morphettville Parks on 17 August, then led before weakening out in the final 300m for 7.9 lengths 7th in a BM 64 over 1400m at Morphettville Parks on 27 August. I find him hard to follow and think other runners have his measure.
