Our Morphettville Horse Racing Tips for the weekend. The feature is the Lightning Stakes (race 8).

Great Diviner (Morphettville Race 9 No. 5)
This three-year-old Shamus Award gelding trained by Will Clarken has three wins and a place from six starts. He took over going for home at the 400m and won by a comfortable 1.3 lengths over 1200m at Murray Bridge on 19 June, then showed he can handle a heavy track with a 0.4 length win over 1300m at Morphettville Parks on 17 July. Todd Pannell sticks with him and he looks well-placed to win again.

Each Way

Jyoti  (Morphettville Race 4 No. 5):
This three-year-old Akeed Mofee filly trained by Tony & Calvin McEvoy has two wins and three places from eight starts. She got close at the 300m before peaking late for 0.95 lengths 3rd over 1200m at Ballarat on 15 June, then jumped awkwardly and was brushed a couple of time before battling on for 1.9 lengths 3rd where she just missed 2nd. Has won previously at this track and distance and looks a great each-way chance.

Best Lay

Lord Bouzeron (Morphettville Race 5 No. 1):
This four-year-old Burgundy gelding trained by Michael Hickmott is the early favourite in this BM 68 handicap over 2500m. He stalked the leader but winded late to finish 6.8 lengthd 4th over 2100m at Gawler on 10 July, then led to the turn before being headed by the eventual winner turning into the straight but battled away to hold 2nd place comfortably over 2500m at Morphettville on heavy going on 24 July. He is on a seven day back-up and will run his usual honest race, but goes up in weight and even with a 2kg claim carries more than any other runner, which will tell on the heavy track. Prepared to risk him here.

The rail moves out to the C position for the meeting, and there is a chance of light showers so the track should remain Good. The first race is at 6.40pm Hong Kong time which is 9.40pm AEST. Best Bet Beauty Infinity (Happy Valley Race 2 No. 3) This 4YO was an impressive 2.3 length winner at this track and distance last outing.

Horse Racing Tips : VIC Wednesday 13th March 2024

Our Caulfield Tips for Wednesday's meeting. Key Comments The rail is true and racing on the new Heath track. The best bet resumes and looks well placed to return a winner in what is a suitable race. Best Bet Miss Aria (Caulfield Race 6 No. 7) Was solid behind the smart Riff Rocket early doors before knocking over her maiden convincingly. Was excellent in 2 stakes races following and then had enough and put aside for a spell. Capable of taking this

Horse Racing Tips : QLD Wednesday 13th March 2024

Our Doomben Horse Racing Tips for the 13th of March. The track is in the soft range and very hot conditions expected. The best bet comes up at a short price and will be very hard to hold out in what is a highly suitable race. Best Bet Sacred Feeling (Doomben Race 2 No. 5) Has the class edge on this field and should enjoy being on this track and trip. Showed plenty last prep and will appreciate the drop in grade. This

Horse Racing Tips : WA Wednesday 13th March 2024

Our Belmont Horse Racing Tips for Wednesday's meeting. The track is rated as a Good 4 and the rail is +4 metres the entire circuit. Best Bet Tin Chooks  (Belmont Race 7 No. 2) Tin Chooks won over 1600m at Pinjarra Scarpside last outing with the best closing splits of the race. The runner-up in that race just missed on Saturday and the third horse has won a mares race at Albany since. Paul Harvey takes the reins again and he should be
