Preakness (Morphettville Parks Race 4 No. 5)
This four-year-old Darci Brahma gelding trained by Michael Hickmott at Murray Bridge has two wins and a place from five starts. He started favourite but finished 5th over 1400m at New Plymouth Raceway on 27 December, then was spelled for 30 weeks. When resuming he won by 1.2 lengths over 1250m at Morphettville Parks on 30 July. Gets a 3kg claim and looks the testing material.

Naleigh (Morphettville Parks Race 6 No. 10):
This four-year-old Nostradamus mare trained by Will Clarken has two wins and two places from eight starts. She came from well back to make ground for 5.2 lengths 5th in the Listed Lightning Stakes over 1050m at Morphettville on a heavy 10 track on 31 July, then appreciated the drop in grade and worked home strongly for a narrow win over 1100m at Morphettville on 14 August. Has a good finish and looks a good each-way bet.

Jaamint (Morphettville Parks Race 2 No. 4):
This six-year-old mare trained by Garret Lynch at Murray Bridge has nine wins and seven places from 42 starts and is the early favourite in this BM 68 handicap over 1400m. She was a 4.6 length winner over 1500m at Gawler on 10 July, then started favourite but never looked likely when 8.3 lengths 8th over 1550m on a heavy track at Morphettville Parks on 17 July. Doesn’t seem to like this track and I’m willing to risk her here.

Key Comments The rail is true. The best bet can land us a win in the first. Best Bet Pee Dee (Quirindi Race 2 No. 1) Has been sound in both efforts to date and this race lacks any depth. Key Comments A big 10 race card takes place. The rail is in 3 metres. The track usually suits those who can sustain a long run to the line. That will suit the best bet who loves racing here and comes up later in the day. Best Bet Flame Tree Star (Grafton Race 1 No. 1) Has a booming turn of foot and while Swanston doesn't have the easiest pattern to catch, this track does suit and that shows with the 9 placings
