This four-year-old Headwater gelding has two wins and five places from eight starts. He chased solidly for 1.1 lengths 2nd over 1000m at Morphettville Parks on 16 July, then didn’t come on in the straight when 6.6 lengths 7th in the Listed Lightning Stakes over 1050m at Morphettville on 30 July. That was the only time he has missed being in the trifecta. Looks a good each-way chance back in grade.

This gelding trained by Gordon Richards & Damien Moyle is the early favourite in this BM 64 Handicap over 1400m. He has won his last two starts over 1400m at Murray Bridge but has been unplaced in two previous runs at this track. Will run well but think there a couple that can finish ahead of him.
