This seven-year-old Floral Pegasus gelding trained by Sue Nolan at Murray Bridge has nine wins and 18 places from 56 starts. He came from last to get up in the closing stages for a 0.6 length win over 1500m at Gawler on 18 December, then came from well back again for 1.2 lengths 3rd over 1506m at Gawler on 8 January. Goes well at this track and looks a nice each-way bet.

Lady Simone (Gawler Race 3 No. 3):
This four-year-old All Too Hard mare is the early favourite in this Fillies and Mares BM 68 handicap over 1200m. She kept chasing solidly for 0.6 length 4th over 1100m at Gawler on 1 December, then took over in the final 150m for a 1.7 length win over 1200m at Gawler on 18 December. She goes up 2 kg in a field with several last-start winners and I’m prepared to risk her here.
