With five wins and two places from 11 starts, this four-year-old Barbados gelding trained by Travis Doudle is no slouch. At the end of last campaign he drove through to 2nd and raced keenly before being headed at the 250m to finish 4.3 lengths 6th over 1400m at Murray Bridge on 7 August, then was spelled for 29 weeks. When resuming he got to the lead early and kept going for an impressive 1.7 length win over 1200m at Morphettville on 26 February. Gets a 2kg claim and can win again.

Yeelana (Morphettville Parks Race 5 No. 7):
This five-year-old mare trained by David Jolly has two wins and four places from 16 starts. She hit the front at the turn and kept kicking but was grabbed late and finished 0.4 length 2nd over 1200m at Gawler on 9 February, then got an ideal trail and took over in the final 150m for a length win over 1250m at Morphettville Parks on 19 February. Is in great form and looks a good each-way chance again.

Last Girl Love (Morphettville Parks Race 8 No. 7):
This Snitzel filly trained by Tony & Calvin McEvoy is the early favourite in this 3YO BM 62 Handicap over 1400m. She has only had two starts, debuting for 4.8 lengths 8th over 1300m at Warrnambool on 20 January, then she led all the way for a 5 length win over 1400m at Balaklava on 13 February. She goes up 2.5 kg in a harder race and I’m prepared to risk her.
