Trent Busuttin & Natalie Young train this three-year-old Xtravagant gelding.  He got to the lead but was overtaken late for for 1.7 lengths 5th in the Group 3 Red Anchor Stakes over 1200m at Moonee Valley on 23 October, then battled on for 4.2 lengths 3rd on heavy going over 1200m at Cranbourne on 13 November. Resumes from a 13 week spell and has won two from three first-up. Has drawn the inside barrier and should win.

Two Odd Sox (Morphettville Parks Race 8 No. 9):
This eight-year-old Reward for Effort gelding trained by Shayne Cahill has six wins and 29 places from 70 starts and has been running well away from the metropolitan area. He worked home nicely between runners for 0.8 length 2nd over 1000m at Murray Bridge on 15 January, then drove late to get up on the line for a 0.1 length win over 1000m at Murray Bridge on 26 January.

Cool Magnum (Morphettville Parks Race 9 No. 7):
This four-year-old Magnus gelding trained by John Hickmott & Carrina Riggs is the early favourite in this BM 68 Handicap over 1200m. He drew clear in the final 200m for a 1.6 length win on heavy going over 1200m at Gawler on 22 January, then got to the front but was grabbed late for 0.5 length 2nd over 1250m at Morphettville Parks on 5 February. Ideally drawn but up in weight and looks vulnerable.
