He never looked in doubt when a 2.8 length winner over 1200m at Morphettville on 30 October, then was grabbed right on the line for 0.1 length 2nd in the Listed City Of Marion Stakes over 1200m at Morphettville on 27 November. Looks the goods.

This four-year-old Smart Missile gelding trained by Will Clarken has one win and seven places from 15 starts. When resuming after 25 weeks he worked home solidly from well back in the field for 0.6 length 2nd over 1050m at Morphettville on 30 October, then hit the front at the 50m but was grabbed on the line for a close 2nd over 1050m at Morphettville on 27 November. He’s a nice each-way chance.

This four-year-old Snitzel mare trained by Tony & Calvin McEvoy is the early favourite in this BM 60 Handicap over 1200m. She took over at the 250m and went clear for a 2.7 length win in a fillies & mares maiden plate over 1200m at Ballarat on 1 November, then chased solidly for 3.3 lengths 4th over 1200m at Sandown Lakeside on 24 November. Hasn’t raced here before and I’m prepared to risk her.
