This Rebel Dane filly has been racing at Flemington where she finished 2.5 lengths 4th over 1420m on 18 June, then was 2.1 lengths 6th in the Listed Taj Rossi Final on 2 July. Resumes from a 10 week break and is likely to race off the speed. Looks the one they have to beat.

Imperial Hilton (Morphettville Parks Race 7 No. 7)
This five-year-old gelding trained by Patrick Payne at Plumpton has four wins and four places from 15 starts. He chased solidly the entire straight for 3.1 lengths 6th over 1200m at Caulfield on 13 August, then ran on strongly doing best late for a 0.8 length win over 1209m at Mildura on 21 August. He has raced over this track and distance combination twice before for a win and a place. Looks a solid each-way chance.

Lafargue (Morphettville Parks Race 6 No. 2)
This four-year-old Capitalist gelding trained by Danny O’Brien is the early favourite in this Class 1 Handicap over 1250m. He resumes here after a 20 week spell and the winkers come off for the first time. He has not won first-up before in three attempts and has a big weight. Willing to risk him here.
