This four-year-old Excelebration gelding trained by Chris Waller has five wins and nine places from 23 starts. He was held up to the 200m and ran on late when clear for 0.75 length 2nd over 1615m at Doomben on 26 May, then shifted out at the 100m and did best late for a 0.8 length win over 1666m at Ipswich on 19 June. Starting from barrier 1 he looks a strong chance here.

Three Stripes (Eagle Farm Race 6 No. 4):
This four-year-old Jet Spur gelding has had 13 starts for two wins and nine places. At the end of last campaign he fought hard for 0.5 length 2nd over 1100m at Rockhampton on 13 January then was spelled for 21 weeks. He resumed for 2.9 lengths 8th over 1000m at Sunshine Coast on 9 June where he didn’t tun as expected. Should improve second-up and is a solid each-way bet.

Princess Tenko (Eagle Farm Race 8 No. 9):
This three-year-old Real Impact filly has a win and a place from three starts and is the early favourite in this QTIS 3YO BM 65 handicap over 1200m. She resumed from a 20 week spell with a good run where she fought hard and just missed for 0.5 length 2nd over 1200m at Eagle Farm on 5 May, then she did best late for a 0.4 length win over 1100m at Ipswich on 19 May to break her maiden. This is harder and she is drawn out wide.
