This Rich Enuff gelding has only had two starts but looks to have lots of ability. He debuted with 1.5 lengths 2nd in a 2YO maiden plate over 1000m at Sunshine Coast on 19 July, then was spelled for 21 weeks before resuming for a narrow win over 1000m at Eagle Farm on 16 December, where there was a big gap to the 3rd horse. He carries 1.5kg less here and looks the likely winner

Heritage Sash (Doomben Race 8 No. 5):
This five-year-old I Am Invincible gelding trained by Toby Edmonds has three wins and 11 places from 17 starts. He resumed from an 18 week spell for 7.4 lengths 5th over 1200m at Ipswich on 11 November, then led into the home straight but was headed at the 150m and finished 0.4 lengths 2nd over 1200m at Doomben on 11 December. He should be fitter now and looks a solid each-way bet.

Best Lay
Avowal (Doomben Race 3 No. 3):
This four-year-old gelding is the early favourite in this Class 2 handicap over 1350m. He had an easy 2.75 length win over 1200m at Sunshine Coast on 4 December, then jumped awkwardly and battled on for 3.4 lengths 8th over 1350m at Doomben on 19 December. That was his first run at the track and I’m prepared to risk him at the short price.
