Brave Warrior (Ipswich Race 8 No. 1):
This four-year-old Exceed And Excel gelding trained by Maryann Brosnan has two wins and two places from five starts. He did best for a narrow win in a Class 1 handicap over 1350m at Ipswich on 29 September, then winded out for 7.4 lengths 8th over 1200m at Eagle Farm on 30 October before spelling. Resumes here after 13 weeks and placed in a Gold Coast trial. Looks a good each-way chance in this Class 2 Handicap.

Princess Bojack (Ipswich Race 3 No. 2):
This three-year-old Flying Artie filly trained by Michael Nolan at Toowoomba is the early favourite in this BM 68 Handicap over 800m. She began well and was 2nd at the home turn but faded out after being bumped and checked to finish 7 lengths 8th over 1200m at Doomben on 28 August, then led to the home turn and was headed at the 300m and finished 3.9 lengths 6th over 1000m at Eagle Farm on 9 October. Resumes from a 16 week spell and prefer to see.
