Our Doomben Horse Racing Tips for Wednesday’s meeting.
Single Memo (Doomben Race 5 No. 9)
This three-year-old Not a Single Doubt filly trained by Steven O’Dea & Matthew Hoysted has one win and one place from two starts. On debut she took over at the 150m and drew away for an easy 2.3 length win over 1000m at Eagle Farm, then she fought on well for 0.2 length 2nd over 1000m at Sunshine Coast on 24 September. Has had a seven week let-up and looks a winning chance.

Each Way
Carribean King (Doomben Race 7 No. 6):
This three-year-old Sweynesse gelding trained by Stuart Kendrick has two wins and a place from five starts. At the end of last campaign he ran on for 2.1 lengths 4th on a soft track over 1000m at Sunshine Coast on 11 July. Resuming from a 16 week spell he wound up steadily for 0.2 length 2nd over 1000m at Sunshine Coast on 5 November. Can handle soft going and looks a great each-way chance.

Best Lay
Smart Star Prince (Doomben Race 8 No. 15):
This four-year-old Smart Missile gelding trained by David Vandyke is the early favourite in this BM 68 handicap over 1350m. He was a 0.2 length winner over a maiden handicap over 1300m at Sunshine Coast on 12 September, then was an easy 3 length winner of a Class 1 handicap over 1400m at Gold Coast on 2 October. He has drawn wide and I’m happy to risk him here.

Our Murray Bridge Horse Racing Tips for Wednesday's meeting. Key Comments The track is currently rated Soft 5 and the rail is +3 metres the entire circuit including the 1800m and 2000m chutes. Best Bet Startide (Murray Bridge Race 7 No. 4) Startide is first-up from a 21 week spell and was a close runner-up in an Open Trial at Gawler. She has good first-up form and has raced in stronger fields than this. Strong chance. $3.30

Our Wyong Tips for Wednesday's meeting. Key Comments The rail is in 3 metres. Expecting the best bet to kick off the day with a win on the back of a very strong second placing on debut. Best Bet Just Party (Wyong Race 1 No. 1) Just Party was left a sitting duck after doing too much early work but there was plenty of merit in the debut effort. Drawn kinder here, strips fitter and Tim Clark remains in the saddle. This

Our Kyneton Tips for Tuesday's meeting. Key Comments The rail is out 1 metre. Expecting those on speed to be suited with the small straight. The best bet looks nicely placed in a winnable race. Best Bet Capulet (Kyneton Race 8 No. 2) Racing well and looks the perfect chance to be in the winners stall again. Cartwright steers and he takes off a few kgs with the claim. This race is within reach and the price appeals. $2.80
