Reloaded (Doomben Race 5 No. 3)
This four-year-old Snitzel gelding trained by Chris Waller has one win and five places from 14 starts. At the end of last campaign he chased hard when clear for 2.5 lengths 6th in the Group 2 Villiers Stakes over 1600m at Randwick on 12 December. He resumed from an 11 week spell for 6 lengths 9th in the Group 3 Liverpool City Cup over 1300m at Randwick on 27 February where he was winded late on the soft track and the rider was 1 kg over. This is a huge drop in grade and he will be hard to beat.

Emma’s Jet (Doomben Race 7 No. 2):
This four-year-old Jet Spur gelding has three wins and four places from 13 starts. He settled back in the field then fought on for 1.4 lengths 8th over 1200m at Doomben on 4 February, then was headed at the 250m and fought on for 3 lengths 2nd over 1350m on soft going at Ipswich on 24 February. The blinkers come off for the first time and he looks worth an each-way bet.

Best Lay
Iolite (Doomben Race 8 No. 9):
This three-year-old Bel Esprit gelding has two wins from four starts and is the early favourite in this Class 2 handicap over 1110m. He began well but was headed at the 50m and faded for 1.65 lengths 4th over 1050m at Doomben on 11 December before spelling. Resuming after 11 weeks he was the early leader but faded for 2.5 lengths 5th over 1000m at Sunshine Coast on 27 February. There are other runners with better form and he offers no value.
