He paired off at the 100m and was outbobbed on the line for 2nd over 1200m at Sunshine Coast on 12 September, then fought hard to just miss for 0.2 length 2nd over 1300m at Sunshine Coast on 24 Septenber. Has run well in soft and heavy going before and looks ready to win.

This five-year-old Sepoy gelding trained by Donald Baker at Toowoomba has four wins and nine places from 19 starts. Resuming from a 23 week spell he only battled for 2.65 lengths 7th over 1000m at Eagle Farm on 17 September, then did best for a 0.1 length win over 1050m at Doomben on 26 September. Drawn ideally in barrier 1 and looks a great each-way chance.

This four-year-old Sacred Falls gelding trained by Chris Waller is the early favourite in this BM 65 handicap over 1650m. He led narrowly into the home turn and faded late for 2 lengths 4th over 1800m at Eagle Farm on 17 September, then fought hard to just miss for 0.3 length 3rd when favourite over 1690m at Ipswich on 29 September. Hasn’t won on rain affected ground and happy to risk him here.
