Our Ipswich Horse Racing Tips for Wednesday’s meeting.

Joy To All (Ipswich Race 3 No. 2)
This five-year-old All Too Hard mare trained by David Vandyke has three wins and a place from five starts. She fought hard to just miss for 0.1 length 2nd over 1350m at Doomben on 2 June, then led throughout to win by a comfortable 2 length margin on a soft track over 1600m at Sunshine Coast on 13 June. Resumes here from a 21 week break and looks the winner.

How to pick a winner

Each Way

All Too Quick (Ipswich Race 6 No. 10):
This three-year-old All Too Hard filly trained by Michael Costa has one win from three starts. She was checked at the top of the straight before balancing up and making ground for 2.6 lengths 5th over 1200m at Murwillumbah on 11 October, then led narrowly into the straight and drew away late for a 1.25 length win on a heavy track over 1200m at Gold Coast on 23 October. Should race on the speed and is a good each-way chance.

Best Lay

Dembe (Ipswich Race 1 No. 5):
This three-year-old Maurice gelding trained by Kelly Schweida is the early favourite in this 3YO Maiden handicap over 1200m. He hit the front at the 250m but was run down for a length 2nd over 1000m at Sunshine Coast on 4 June, then led at the home turn but faded late for 1.9 lengths 5th over 1350m at Doomben on 23 June. First up from a 20 week break and may need the run.
