Bondi Beau (Mackay Race 3 No. 9)
This three-year-old Brazen Beau gelding has two wins and two places from nine starts. He won a 3YO maiden handicap by 2.3 lengths over 1100m at Mackay at his only previous start at this track, then went clear 300m from home and kept kicking for a 1.25 length win over 1200m at Rockhampton on 9 April. Rates highly and should be able to bring up a hat-trick of wins.

Private Button (Mackay Race 5 No. 8):
This three-year-old Love Conquers All gelding has one win from six starts. He got well back and was held up and never really tested when 4.2 lengths 8th over 1300m at Mackay on 30 March, then led all the way for a 0.5 length win on a soft track over 1600m at Rockhampton on 9 April. Seems a nice each-way bet at the big price.

Best Lay
Miss Lot won (Mackay Race 7 No. 2):
This Sidereus filly is the early favourite in this QTIS 3YO handicap over 1100m. She clipped heels, lost the rider and fell when racing over 1000m at Sunshine Coast on 12 March, then settled 10th and ran on strongly for 0.7 lengths 4th over 1300m at Rockhampton on 10 April. She was doing her best late and the drop in distance seems odd making me willing to risk her here.
