Our Gold Coast Horse Racing Tips for the weekend.
Sir Rocket (Gold Coast Race 2 No. 2)
With five wins and four places from 11 starts. this five-year-old Smart Missile gelding trained by Michael Costa always runs well. He hung in and did plenty wrong but still hit the front late to win by 0.3 length over 1200m at the Gold Coast on soft going on 13 November, then raced wide with no cover before running on strongly for 0.8 length 2nd over 1000m at Sunshine Coast on 19 December. Has won two from two at this track and is the one they have to beat.

Each Way
Tamilaide (Gold Coast Race 7 No. 5):
This four-year-old Adelaide gelding trained by Les Kelly has three wins and six places from nine starts. On resuming from an 18 week spell he ran on from well back for 1.2 lengths 3rd over 1200m at Ipswich on 3 December, then ran on from well back at the home turn but couldn’t reel in the winner and finished 0.7 length 2nd over 1400m at Eagle Farm on 18 December. Won at his only start at this track and looks a great each-way chance.

Best Lay
Swiss Exile (Gold Coast Race 3 No. 3):
This Annabel Neasham trained colt is the early favourite in the 1100m Gold Nugget for 2YO Colts & Geldings. He debuted with 0.5 length 3rd in the Listed Phelan Ready Plate over 1000m at Eagle Farm on 11 December, then was caught wide before finishing 2.6 lengths 3rd in the Group 3 BJ McLachlan Plate over 1200m at Doomben on 26 December. Should run well again but offers no value.

Our Murray Bridge Horse Racing Tips for Wednesday's meeting. Key Comments The track is currently rated Soft 5 and the rail is +3 metres the entire circuit including the 1800m and 2000m chutes. Best Bet Startide (Murray Bridge Race 7 No. 4) Startide is first-up from a 21 week spell and was a close runner-up in an Open Trial at Gawler. She has good first-up form and has raced in stronger fields than this. Strong chance. $3.30

Our Belmont Horse Racing Tips for Wednesday's meeting. The track is rated as a Good 4 and the rail is +8 metres the entire circuit. Best Bet Why Me (Belmont Race 7 No. 7) Why me chased strongly coming from near the tail of the field to win over 1600m at Albany to break his maiden status on 10th March. He's shown ability and looks capable of going on with it now. $2.15 Best Each

Our Wyong Tips for Wednesday's meeting. Key Comments The rail is in 3 metres. Expecting the best bet to kick off the day with a win on the back of a very strong second placing on debut. Best Bet Just Party (Wyong Race 1 No. 1) Just Party was left a sitting duck after doing too much early work but there was plenty of merit in the debut effort. Drawn kinder here, strips fitter and Tim Clark remains in the saddle. This

Our Kyneton Tips for Tuesday's meeting. Key Comments The rail is out 1 metre. Expecting those on speed to be suited with the small straight. The best bet looks nicely placed in a winnable race. Best Bet Capulet (Kyneton Race 8 No. 2) Racing well and looks the perfect chance to be in the winners stall again. Cartwright steers and he takes off a few kgs with the claim. This race is within reach and the price appeals. $2.80
