This four-year-old Wandjina gelding trained by Tom Dougall has four wins and two places from six starts. He came from 11th to run on strongly for 1.3 length 2nd over 1100m at Warwick on 9 October, then took over at the 150m and dashed away for a 4.5 length win over 1350m at Doomben on 23 October. Has never run a bad race and looks the winner again.

Way Beyond (Eagle Farm Race 3 No. 1):
This four-year-old Spill the Beans gelding trained by Stuart Kendrick has five wins and eight places from 24 starts. He ran on strongly to win narrowly in a head-bobbing finish over 1800m at Sunshine Coast on 8 October, then got there in the final strides after being blocked for a 0.3 length win over 1600m at Sunshine Coast on 24 October. Drawn ideally in barrier 1 and looks a good each-way bet.

Wonderful Riri (Eagle Farm Race 8 No. 5):
This six-year-old Barbados mare trained by Steven O’Dea & Matthew Hoysted is the early favourite in this BM 85 Handicap over 1200m. He fought on for 2.2 lengths 2nd in the Listed Silk Stocking over 1400m at Gold Coast on 8 May then ran on for 1.5 lengths 5th in the Listed Helen Coughlan Stakes over 1200m at Eagle Farm on 29 May. Resumes from a 23 week spell and I’m willing to risk her first-up .
