Ingear (Eagle Farm Race 7 No. 4)
This four-year-old mare trained by Tony Gollan has three wins and five places from 11 starts and goes well at this track. At the end of last campaign she finished 1.25 lengths 2nd over 1200m at Doomben when she bled, then resumed after 21 weeks for a 2.75 lengths win over 1000m at Eagle Farm on 21 January. That was an easy win and there is no reason she can’t win again here.

Devine Grey (Eagle Farm Race 2 No. 2):
This four-year-old grey mare has five wins and three places from 18 starts and has three wins and three 2nds from her last six starts. She ran on strongly for a length 2nd over 2200m at Sunshine Coast on 3 January, then kept coming and drew clear for a 2.5 length win over 2170m at Ipswich on 23 January. She is in great form at the moment and is a nice each-way bet.

Best Lay
Let’s Party Marty (Eagle Farm Race 6 No. 6):
This six-year-old gelding is the early favourite in this Open Handicap over 1200m after winning two of his three starts this campaign. He bolted in for a 3.5 length win over 1200m at Doomben on 19 December, then hit the front but was headed at the 100m to finish 2.2 lengths 4th over 1350m at Doomben on 23 January. This is a tougher race and he offers no value.
