He took over at the 100m for a 1.3 length win over 1630m at Doomben on 12 February, then won by a length over 1600m at the Sunshine Coast on 19 February. Has won 2 from 2 on heavy going and looks well placed here. Should win.

Shamrock Lu (Doomben Race 10 No. 14):
This four-year-old Hallowed Crown gelding trained by Tony Gollan has five wins and two places from 12 starts. He ran down the leader late to win narrowly by 0.1 length over 1000m at Sunshine Coast on 29 January, then ran a similar race for a 0.2 win over 1000m at Sunshine Coast on 19 February. Looking for a hat-trick and is worth an each-way bet.

Seat Of Power (Doomben Race 4 No. 2):
This seven-year-old Sea The Stars gelding is the early favourite in this BM 90 handicap over 2000m. He led into the home turn then faded for 3.8 lengths 5th over 1600m at Sunshine Coast on 29 January, then did best to win by 0.2 lengths over 2030m at Doomben on 12 February. The 2 kg claim should help but doesn’t have any heavy track form so am prepared to risk him.
