Snitzari (Doomben Race 7 No. 6)
This three-year-old Snitzel filly trained by Kris Lees has three wins and a place from eight starts. She battled on out wide for 1.25 lengths 5th over 1000m at Eagle Farm on 6 March, then took over at the 250m and drew away nicely for a 2.25 length win over 1110m at Doomben on a heavy track on 17 March. She should race on the speed and is a big chance here.

Cloak (Doomben Race 5 No. 4):
This five-year-old Medaglio D’Oro gelding has six wins and three places from 19 starts and has won both times he has raced at Doomben, He led all the way for a 1.25 length win over 1600m at Doomben on 5 September, then over-raced and couldn’t run out a strong 1800m when 3.5, 0.1 lengths 3rd over 1800m at Eagle Farm on 16 September. Resuming here after a 27 week spell, he has trialled and won first-up last campaign. He is worth an each-way bet.

Best Lay
Guise (Doomben Race 3 No. 7):
This five-year-old So You Think mare is the early favourite in this BM 85 Handicap over 1600m. She charged home late out wide for 0.2, 0.3 lengths 3rd over 1800m at Sunshine Coast on 27 February, then settled 8th and made some ground for 2.95 lengths 5th over 1805m at Eagle Farm on 6 March. She drops 3kg from last run but still needs improvement on her last two runs.
