Our Toowoomba Horse Racing Tips for the weekend.
Champagne Aunty (Toowoomba Race 5 No. 1)
This five-year-old Trusting mare trained by Steve Tregea at this track has six wins and six places from 16 starts, including two wins at this track. She won three races in a row at Eagle Farm in July and August before dropping back in distance and finishing 5.4 lengths 9th over 1300 at the Gold Coast on 18 September. On a seven day back-up and up in distance she looks the testing material.

Avocado Sunset (Toowoomba Race 3 No. 8):
This four-year-old Deep Field gelding trained by Jared Wehlow at Rockhampton has four wins and two places from eight starts. He looked the winner at the 200m but faded late for 1.1 lengths 3rd over 1100m at Rockhampton on 3 August, then drew clear in the straight for a 1.5 length win over 1100m at Mackay on 26 August. Jim Byrne takes the ride and he should be able to place.

Best Lay
Apache Chase (Toowoomba Race 8 No. 3):
This four-year-old Better Than Ready gelding is the early favourite in the Weetwood Handicap over 1200m. Last campaign he won the Group 3 Fred Best Classic over 1400m at Eagle Farm on 29 May, then led into the home turn before finishing 3.9 lengths 13th in the Group 1 Stradbroke Handicap over 1400m at Eagle Farm. Resumes from a 15 week spell and won a recent trial but don’t think he can win first-up at this distance.

Our Murray Bridge Horse Racing Tips for Wednesday's meeting. Key Comments The track is currently rated Soft 5 and the rail is +3 metres the entire circuit including the 1800m and 2000m chutes. Best Bet Startide (Murray Bridge Race 7 No. 4) Startide is first-up from a 21 week spell and was a close runner-up in an Open Trial at Gawler. She has good first-up form and has raced in stronger fields than this. Strong chance. $3.30

Our Wyong Tips for Wednesday's meeting. Key Comments The rail is in 3 metres. Expecting the best bet to kick off the day with a win on the back of a very strong second placing on debut. Best Bet Just Party (Wyong Race 1 No. 1) Just Party was left a sitting duck after doing too much early work but there was plenty of merit in the debut effort. Drawn kinder here, strips fitter and Tim Clark remains in the saddle. This

Our Kyneton Tips for Tuesday's meeting. Key Comments The rail is out 1 metre. Expecting those on speed to be suited with the small straight. The best bet looks nicely placed in a winnable race. Best Bet Capulet (Kyneton Race 8 No. 2) Racing well and looks the perfect chance to be in the winners stall again. Cartwright steers and he takes off a few kgs with the claim. This race is within reach and the price appeals. $2.80
