This four-year-old Spill the Beans mare trained by Tony Gollan has four wins and four places from 11 starts. He tried hard but the winner was too good for 1.5 lengths 2nd over 1000m at Eagle Farm on 21 August, then began well but faded late for 1.7 lengths 4th over 1000m at Eagle Farm on 17 September. Post-race he was vetted and had bled. Resumes here after 22 weeks and looks a solid each-way chance.

The early favourite in this 3YO handicap over 1000m is this Statue Of Liberty gelding trained by Cameron Richardson at Toowoomba. He drew well clear for a 3.5 length win over 1210m at Toowoomba on 20 November, which was his 2nd win from 2 starts (both at Toowoomba), then fought on for 2 lengths 3rd over 1200m at Doomben on 4 December. Has had an 11 week let-up and meets a strong field of 3YOs. Other runners offer better value.
